This client utilized this lake community home as a summer getaway for many years. Like many others, they had decided to sell their Bergen County home and convert the lake cottage to a full time residence.
They desired a Queen Anne Victorian style home. We designed a 2-1/2 story home with three bedrooms, 2-1/2 baths, a great room, a custom kitchen, and a full basement. There is a screened porch along the front of the house to relax on those hot summer evenings. A spiral stair provides a unique access to other areas in the turret entryway.
The façade has various low-maintenance siding shapes and colors creating an aesthetic and detailed composition. The lot is only 50 feet wide and variances had to be sought from the township to create as large a footprint as possible on this small parcel for the home.
