This project focused on expanding the client’s existing two-bedroom log cabin with a new entry porch, master bedroom suite, greenhouse, and future crafts store.
The log cabin itself was completely renovated. Columns and beams were added to support the new second floor. New windows and doors with proper insulation and weather barriers were provided to modernize the home and make it more energy efficient.
This project utilized materials like wood siding and brown asphalt shingles to maintain the original log cabin feel and blend the structure into the landscape while providing the additional spaces required.
