This project consisted of a new second story addition over part of an existing one-story fire company building. The goal was to provide additional flexible space, as well as provide a new roof structure since the existing one was failing. The addition contains a large and spacious meeting room, several new offices, and auxiliary spaces.
The new addition's exterior facade brick detailing and shallow hip roof blends with the rest of the existing building making it visually a single facility. Dormers were added on the roofs facing the road to achieve a higher level of continuity over the entire front elevation.
