The existing Nissan dealership on Route 206 in Byram Township was purchased by a new owner. There is a sales building near the highway, and a service building behind it. These buildings were both overdue for a modernization to bring these buildings up to the current standards for both employees and for customers. The overall project is being phased to focus on several areas of need.

The first phase is a full renovation of the sales building dealership offices which are located on the second floor. Old spaces were reconfigured and updated with new materials and fixtures. The second phase is a full reconfiguration and updating of the customer areas within the service building. The old inefficient layout was eliminated and a new fresh layout with updated customer lounges, service advisor area, retail parts area, and associated offices were designed.

The last major phase is the renovation and addition to the front building showroom and sales areas. Besides the interior reconfigurations and refreshing, the front of the showroom is being expanded to infill an existing covered area adjacent to the highway. This increases the number of vehicles that can be displayed, and also creates a new safer access point to get vehicles in and out of the showroom. Another major improvement is a new fully accessible entry at the front that is connected to the parking lot with a new handicapped accessible ramp.

Part of the last phase of construction includes providing a new decorative frame and signage in front of the building facing the highway. The existing building does not fit the typical Nissan dealership model and this required a unique approach to the facade alterations to meet the aesthetic goals of their corporate imagery, but also work within the confines of the building and the existing conditions.
