On July 17, 2008, Kenneth Fox of Fox Architectural Design, PC attended the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony of the newly renovated 11-story apartment building of the Storms Avenue Apartments in Jersey City, NJ. The Ceremony was attended by representatives from the development company, the contractor, as well as by the mayor and a councilwoman.
The project consisted of an interior renovation to the building that included updates and new finishes in all of the apartment units. All of the common areas including hallways, elevators, resident lounge, and administrative office were also renovated. The construction project took approximately ten months to complete and left no area that is accessible to the residents untouched.
Fox Architectural Design, PC worked with the owner and the contractor during the construction phase to review contractor progress and process payments for the completed work. Including these tasks, and the review of the punchlist at the end of the project, Fox Architectural also assisted with the redesign of the administrative office area, and other miscellaneous tasks during the construction process.
We are very proud to have been part of this project. We are also happy to see the seniors that call this building home enjoy their newly renovated apartments and gathering spaces.
