A key part of this project included the layout and design of a new site configuration to seek municipal planning board approval. The tight site required consideration of the configuration of the building as well as the required pedestrian and vehicular circulation and parking layout on the site. Grading, storm drainage, site lighting, landscaping, and septic design were also important factors.

The building was designed in the style of a rustic chalet. High sloping roof surfaces and highly textured siding and wood accents provide an interesting old-world charm quality to the building. This aesthetic makes this small building more visible among the larger simple stucco buildings in the area.

The interior accommodates a generous kitchen area as well as a small, but cozy eat-in dining facility. The rustic aesthetic is carried to interior in moldings and woodwork.
