The owners of this summer lake cottage decided to tear down the existing building and rebuild a new larger and more functional year-round home. They also sold their Upper Montclair home that has many old-world features that would be designed into this new home. The finishes and detailing of the new home were very important to the client.
The new custom home is a French Villa style. It has stucco finishes, wrought iron detailing, custom wood shutters, and natural stone accents. This home contains four bedrooms, a formal living area, a formal dining area, a modern open kitchen, a large study, a walk-up attic, a full basement, and a dance studio.
