The goal for this home was to reconstruct a new updated and modern home on the same location as the old existing summer house. In order to take advantage of the lake views, the owner wanted to have many ins-and-outs in the facades. Dramatic elevations were created with these facades and the interesting rooflines above. There is a circular screened porch along the lakeside and a two-story great room behind that gets lots of sunlight.

The first phase of construction was a new three-car detached garage located across the street. The second phase was the house. Both phases share the same style and finish creating a unified composition.
