There are many considerations and decisions to be made in a project of this nature. Every available space must be utilized to its full benefit while advancing the aesthetic qualities of the house as it relates to the beautiful lake front setting.

The elevations were designed utilizing different textures while building upon the same footprint of the existing house. The home was designed to have an unpretentious front while providing interesting detailing on the lake front elevation.

An open living plan with two bedrooms was created in a two-level cottage style design. On a loft area a balcony and library was created for numerous bookcases and a quiet place for relaxation. A screened porch was provided on the lakeside that contributes to the circulation around the home.
