The owners lived in a single-story flat-roofed summer cottage for many summers until they decided to rebuild it as a year-round residence. The project included a new second story addition, a great room addition, and a complete remodeling of the existing home.
The owner’s intent was to create a traditional two-story colonial with quality finishes and detailing that could be occupied during the entire year. The use of cultured stone and cedar style siding created a classically proportioned and detailed home that the owner fully enjoys.
