The existing church was in dire need for additional space. The major components of the addition consisted of new classrooms, new administrative offices, and a new gymnasium.
The addition’s design concept was to provide the new space necessary while matching the aesthetic of the existing building. Of particular importance in meeting this goal, the roof lines and exterior material detailing were carefully coordinated.
The gymnasium is a multi-purpose space that can accommodate basketball, volleyball, and large gatherings. There is also a raised stage area for presentations or theatrical events.
