This new office building, on Route 173 in Clinton, contains a drive-thru bank, the bank’s corporate headquarters, and additional space for several other business offices. We were retained to provide full design and construction drawings for this steel framed building.
To insulate the building from solar heat a light colored façade was specified to reflect sunlight and dark glass was specified to insulate the inside. These two colors offer a good strategy for solar insulation while providing a sharp contrast in the façade aesthetics. The building skin materials include standing seam metal roofing, metal stud walls with EIFS stucco finish, and insulated glass.
